After running the marathon in 2008 something told me that one day I would be doing it all again, and despite running it with an injured knee at least I know that I can do it - it doesn't make the task any easier though! AS this is my 40th year I also wanted to mark it with something memorable! This time I have a charity place (only offered a few weeks ago!) and have pledged to raise £2000 for Help the Hospices. So far so good, training is going well and I am working hard at doing some fundraising events including a coffee morning and a curry night. I am really please to be running for Help the Hospices, who give invaluable time and care to people with incurable inllnesses, enabling patients to live life to the full, whatever time they have left. One in three people have been touched by hospice care.
