Story

Imagine cycling from Leicester to Kings Lynn and back. Easy? Now put the Lake District in the middle. Forget sprint bikes, this is off-roading with knobbly tyres. 143 miles in 2.5 days. Still fancy it?

If the answer is "That sounds great!", then please get in contact with one of the team!

If the answer is "No thanks, you've got to be mad"...then we'd appreciate you sponsoring this team of 20 noble riders from Loughborough RoundTable as they hit the dirt trails and off road tracks for 2.5 days of pain. Their route will take them from Whitehaven, through the Lake District, over the Pennines and the North Yorkshire Moors and eventually to Newcastle all in the name of a great local charity - Rainbows Childrens Hospice.

Rainbows provides specialist respite care for children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions. Their families are also supported and helped by Rainbows on their difficult journey.

So please support the team, preferably with your kind donation rather than an inflatable cushion at work when they get back!

Thankyou

About the charity

As the East Midlands’ only hospice for children and young people, we brighten the short lives of babies, children and young people who come to Rainbows. We want them to have fun and make special memories. We are also here to support their loved ones through the most difficult times of their lives.
