We at CARE International, fight poverty to help the world’s most vulnerable people.

Story

On the 24th and 25th of July, a team consisting of Kevin Dessoy, Elizabeth Treherne, Jonathan Treherne, Tracy McLachlan, Amanda Turner, Mike Turner, Sam Francis, Simon Ibberson and Derek Stiddard will be competing in the CARE International 24 Peak Challenge. This consists of scaling 24 peaks over 2400 feet in 24 hours of walking, split over two days. If this doesn't convince you, please look up the event on CARE's website(www.careinternational.org.uk)

All team members are under varying diet and fitness regimes (personally, I'm on the beer and doughnut diet and watching a lot more sport) in preparation for what we know will be a tough couple of days. Three of the team have competed in the challenge before and are doing nothing to raise the spirits of those who haven't!

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us for CARE International UK!

Please give as much as you can to encourage our effort!

If you are a UK taxpayer your donation will be increased by almost a third at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.
