We provide mental health training to help people look after their wellbeing

Story

Because when raising money (and awareness), Mr Madoff had it right – Ponzi schemes are the business! So we thought it best to put the idea to good use for charity.

The concept is simples:

1.       In March, the CWMT committee will be holding dinner parties for old friends

2.       Each of our guests (approx 7 but more the merrier) have been asked to bring “a bottle and a fiver”

3.       The aim is that every body has a fun meal, commits to host a dinner party themselves and £35-£50 is raised for charity

4.       We hope that everyone will get into the spirit of turning a simple pyramid selling technique into the most powerful awareness and fund raising event of the year!

5.       You can track progress live on www.justgiving.com/

Basic maths is outlined below:

2nd round to be held by end of June = 70 hosts, 490 guests, £2,450 raised
3rd round to be held by end of September = 490 hosts, 3,430 guests, £17,150 raised
4th round to be held by 23rd December = 3,430 hosts, 24,010 guests, £120,050 raised

With your help, your friends help, and your friend's friends help we can raise at least £120,000, and crucially spread the word to 24,000 people about the dangers of depression. All this whilst having a great evening with old friends. Whats not to like about Ponzi?
