As part of my Brownies charity badge I am doing a 12 hour silence to raise lots of money for Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS) because they do such a brilliant job saving lives. As some of you may know I love to talk so this will be quite challenging for me. 

SARS was established in 1972 and currently has 33 clinical volunteers including doctors and critical care paramedics. Since their beginning SARS has answered over 18,500 calls for their assistance at serious or life threatening incidents. In 2021 they attended 464 call outs and in 15% of these they were the first at the scene. Their advanced interventions have helped save countless lives as well as reducing the chance of permanent disability.
