Story
NAOMI HOUSE is a children's hospice that provides respite care, terminal care and bereavement support for children and families. It costs over £2.5 million a year to run with only 10% of funding coming from the Government. Significant funds are now required to run its wonderful new centre for young people (16-25 year olds). (http://www.naomihouse.org.uk/).
Close family have sadly experienced the loss of a young child and, at the time, were offered invaluable support from their local hospice. My wife and I spent a day with the staff at NAOMI HOUSE recently. This was an inspiring, yet totally humbling, experience which has made us even more determined to help others who find themselves in challenging and difficult situations.
I aim to raise £2,500 for NAOMI HOUSE by cycling 300 kms from London to Paris. Please dig deep and donate what you can. Thank you so very much.
