Thank you for visiting our justgiving page raising crucial funds for the Dreamflight charity. Dreamflight is a national charity that see a specially chartered flight with volunteer medical carers take seriously ill children on a holiday of a lifetime to Florida. Carol and Julie have both accompanied the children on these trips and have seen first hand the fantastic impact this has on the both the children and their families - a truly wonderful experience. Our target of £3,500 would pay for one child to go on the trip.

Each regional group of kids has a Disney character as mascot, the North East group are the Tigger Group and the Glasgow group are the Flintstones.

Of course the inspiration of the children is reason itself to run the 13 miles but when asked why they were subjecting themselves to this pain our heroes replied:

Carol: "I need to do it before I hit the big 4-0 !!"

Julie: "Ach! It'll be a doddle"

Dean: "Carol told me I had to do it" 

Martha and Abbie (AKA Double Trouble) will be running the Mini Run on Saturday 18th September accompanied by Tigger (AKA Dean in a daft suit because Martha & Abbie told him he had to do it)
