What an amazing experience… I cannot describe how rewarding it was to run this race;  the encouragement I got throughout the race from the local population was beyond belief;  the support I got from the San Adrian friends was astonishing;  the endorsement I got from your sponsorship was/is remarkable… what can I say??!!  I only can say thanks to all of you for your help and for staying by me side.

Last but not least to my mate Maria Rosa I can only say you are an inspiration! … Without you I would not have been part of this event.

Carolina’s message:

 How I ended up in the 2010 Behobia-SanSebastian?!

 As you all know we work for GM, one in London (Carolina-Portuguese from Lisbon), the other in San Adrian (Maria Rosa-Spanish from Navarra region); besides this we have common friends and we have as hobby jogging.

 Last year we got together in La Rioja region for wine tasting and that’s when Maria Rosa invited me to run this half-marathon.   At the time I wasn’t aware of the route of the race and with huge (wine!) enthusiasm I have agreed to run it with Maria Rosa...

 I now know I’m in trouble (please see race’s route - http://www.behobia-sansebastian.com/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=1&lang=en), however has I gave my word I’ll join on the 14^th Nov. Maria Rosa and all other GM professional runners on this race this year.

 My objectives are to “survive” and finish the race smiling and to be able to support such noble cause as the work developed by Cancer Research UK. 

 Please sponsor me and give me an incentive to get to the end!

¿Cómo me vi metida en esto? ¿Correr  20 Km? Cada vez que me ato las zapatillas me lo pregunto. Mi compañero y entrenador Zenón diría que es porque soy una chulilla y en cuanto me retan recojo el guante (Y no le falta razón) pero además correr me hace sentir bien. Seré Cuarentañera  en Enero y corriendo me demuestro a mi misma que es solo un numero y no una carga en mi corazón, mis piernas y mi ilusión.

¡Corro por una vida llena de proyectos!

Como dice Carolina, el objetivo es terminarla vivas, disfrutar haciéndolo y de paso ayudar. Así que amigos un donativo y a disfrutar de este proyecto con nosotras.
