Through my friendship with Skye’s family I have learnt a lot about who Skye was, and how much his family loved him, and have been moved and inspired by their story.  

In his name, his parents founded this exceptional charity which does unprecedented work in support of research into the treatment of childhood brain tumours. 

If, in doing this firewalk, I can display even an iota of the courage that Skye demonstrated during his illness, I will be pleased with that!
