On January 1st 2016, while you're all sitting cosy at home nursing your hangovers, I'll be flinging myself into the freezing waters of the North Sea down at Stonehaven Harbour in aid of CLIC Sargent, the children's cancer charity. This is particularly significant to me because earlier on this year, a wee boy in P1 at the school I teach was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumour. CLIC Sargent do an amazing job, offering practical & clinical support to the families of children & young people with cancer. I know money is tight for lots of people, especially at this time of year, but if you can spare even a few quid I'd be so grateful. 

And if anyone fancies joining me, they're still looking for volunteers to try & beat last year's total. Get involved good people :-)
