Georgia's Gift is proud to be involved with a new baby loss awareness initiative in association with MAMA Academy called Carry Their Names. MAMA Academy are the UK's Baby Loss Prevention Charity and do incredible work on stillbirth prevention to help more babies arrive safely. You will be aware we have always supported Say Their Names but this is a new idea.

Georgia's Gift will be taking part in The Awareness Challenge with the #carrytheirnames hashtag. When a baby dies, a whole lifetime is lost. We want to raise awareness of this with #mamaacademy by carrying their names to places they will never get to go. It doesn't have to be special locations, it can be school, work, a football match, the seaside.

So how can you help? If you would like us to carry a precious baby's name for you, is all we ask that you make a donation and we will carry their name. Your baby can be any gestation, every life matters, however brief. Your baby's name will be written on a heart that will be carried to various locations and photos taken with the hashtag #carrytheirnames and shared by us and Mama Academy.

Alternatively, if you would like to carry a name, we ask that you perhaps set yourself a challenge? For example, carry a name to 25 different locations in a month and ask people to sponsor you. Or a fun run where you carry the name with you. Everyone who carries a name will receive a beautiful participation medal from Mama Academy.
