Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
It’s that time of the year again when I make my annual bicycle ride to support the Saigon Children’s Charity to raise money for underprivileged youths in Saigon and the Mekong Delta region. The Saigon Children’s Charity, founded in 1992, takes simple, practical steps to ensure that the children most in need get an education. They build schools, they give scholarships, they target additional support and help and provide vocational training. Last year, I’ve managed to raise over US$2,000 with everyone’s great support, and once again, I’m inviting you to my fundraising website (http://www.justgiving.com/Cass-Le2) which will help me to meet my targets. I’ll be joining 20+ riders in a 3 day, 200km ride from Hue to Lang Co, up the amazing Hai Van Pass before dropping back down to Danang. Our final day will see us ride to the UNESCO listed temples of My Son, before finishing up at Hoi An. Much of this trip was seen on the ‘Top Gear Vietnam Challenge’, the main difference is that we’re doing it on bicycles! Each participant has paid for their own travel and expenses, and are asked to raise a minimum of $500 to support the Saigon Children’s Charity in their work with underprivileged youth. I’m aiming to break over US$2,000 which was my first cycle donation total from last year. Donating through my JustGiving website is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity. Alternatively, should you wish to make cash donations, then I’ll be happy to collect it from you on behalf of the SCC. My charity cycle will kick-off on the 17 Nov so I will call on your support over the next few weeks. A big thank you to those who have already donated – your contributions will make a difference. Many thanks in advance, Cass
