In October I will be running the Amsterdam full marathon in order to raise as much money as possible for the Radiotherapy department at the Churchill Hospital in Oxford. The training itself is going to be tough but knowing the proceeds will be going to such a great charity and help people fight cancer it will make it all worthwhile.

This department/charity is especially close to my heart as May last year my Nan was diagnosed with Cancer. At first it was a massive shock and until I visited the Churchill hospital for the first time I was so naïve to how many people are affected by this terrible disease.

The treatment and support both my Nan and family received from the Churchill Hospital throughout the year was outstanding and without this treatment my Nan wouldn’t be here today, I honestly can’t thank them enough!
