Story

As you may know, the Covid 19 outbreak has forced Pieta to
postpone their flagship fundraiser, Darkness into Light, until later in the
year. Over 80% of Pieta’s funding comes from donations and from events like Darkness Into Light. So now all of the vital Pieta services that individuals and companies across Ireland have helped to support are in danger of being forced to close, at a time when they will be needed more than ever.

In light of this Castlegar GAA have joined forces with over 100 GAA Clubs and communities across the country. On Saturday May 30th our club members and friends will embark on a 24hr Challenge - A challenge that will see us come together albeit virtually to walk in both Darkness and Light. A total of 1 Million steps for Pieta!

We hope that you will join us!

When the night is darkest and the need is greatest, your kindness is the brightest light of all.
