Story
Women's Aid recently ran a 'make a cuppa' week to support children who are affected by domestic violence. Cat's 'morning cuppa' fundraising event on Saturday 29th June is my contribution to this specific area within Women's Aid. As a mother and someone who has worked with children most of her working life, I am very passionate about supporting all children.
Women's Aid provides a vital role of support and offers a safe haven for many women and children. Given the nature of domestic violence and the stigma attached, the subject is often not talked about as openly or as easily but the support from Women's Aid is immeasurable.
I look forward to seeing you on Saturday 29th June in Muckamore Community Hall between 10:30 - 12:30 where there will be coffee, tea (juice for the kids) and homemade goodies. There is a kids playground outside the hall to enjoy after the sweet treats.
It would be wonderful to raise as much money as I can to help Women's Aid and specifically the littlest victims; the children. Any contribution you can spare will make a real difference to women and children who have experienced domestic violence.
Thank you, Cat.
