I am joining word record holder and adventurer, Mark Beaumont on his epic Highland Line Challenge for The STV Appeal. From 1st-10th June 2013 Mark will be travelling over 210 miles across Scotland  to raise as much money as possible for children in Scotland who are living in poverty. I will be doing my bit and joining him on day 3 of the challenge.

I'm delighted to be involved with the STV appeal and Mark Beaumont's incredible challenge. It's a huge undertaking for Mark to run, swim and sweat his way right across Scotland, so I'm glad he'll have a few pals to help him on the way. I plan to try and think of some good stories to help take both our minds off the blisters!
