Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

After a number of years of struggle my Grandpa sadly passed away in his sleep this week. Until his stroke he had lived an extremely active life; he was my horse riding inspiration as well as the King of never ending walks! As a result I want to do something challenging and fun (!) in his memory. I have signed up for the Eton and London Triathlons 2010 and given that I can't swim and my bike was stolen a couple of weeks ago I think I have the challenging element sorted. I'm pretty sure if I manage to survive the dip in the blue waters of the Thames there might just be a few cheeky drinks consumed afterwards, I know my Grandpa would approve of that, so I think I have the fun element sorted too. So all that remains is to raise a bit of cash in memory of our brilliant Grandpa. We all miss him immensely already and feel extremely grateful to have had him in our lives. Please sponsor me if you can xxxxx
