Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.We lost my darling husband, a caring dad, brother, uncle & son and friend to so many when Gary Macangus was taken so suddenly from us on 18th of December 2013. Gar would help anyone, anytime, anywhere and was so proud of his Tractor run that he took over 2 years ago and i am so delighted that all our family and friends are going to keep it going. Not only am I very proud of them all I know Gar will be too. The first Gars Tractor Run took place last year and was just an amazing day and night. There were 53 tractors that travelled 53 miles and when Gar passed away he was 53. Spooky! I know Gar would have been with us all and enjoying the crack too! The tractor run leaves from Dornoch then goes to Embo, Rogart, Lairg (where there is a lunch break) Invershin {for a refreshment break}, Bonar Bridge, Spinningdale then back to Dornoch. We are going to continue to raise money for this amazing cause as I for one want a stop to this horrendous illness which claims so many lives every day and want to raise as much. This year we are going to have to charge a £10 entry fee for each tractor and this is to go towards the cost of the Lunch & BBQ at the end. If theres any left over it will go straight into the charity. If any one could spare a bob or two that would be great thank you so much in advance xxx
