I have decided that my personal challenge for this year is to complete the Great North Run in September. 

I will be the first to admit I am hardly going to challenge any Olympic records, but I do intend to beat my first target, which was just to finish some time before the sun goes down....

This also provides me with a great opportunity to help a good cause and I have chosen to try to raise some funds for YENE.

Every £15 raised will allow one young person to have access to a fun and beneficial experience that will help prepare them for life as part of the future workforce. Now more than ever our economy needs a better skilled and better prepared workforce to help tackle future skills shortages and the need for more business start ups.
