<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>August 1st - 3rd will see me, along with friends Sylvia and Elaine, walking the route of the Forth-Clyde and Union Canals; a distance just short of 70 miles.&nbsp; Some of you will know that my daughter, Catriona, suffers from Ankylosing Spondylitis, a very painful, debilitating disease&nbsp; of the spine,&nbsp;which is extremely difficult to diagnose. The National Ankylosing Spondylitis Society&nbsp;(NASS) is currently raising funds to support research into earlier diagnoses and developing more effective drugs.</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
