Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Michelle and I are running the Color Run together at Manchester in July 2016. I was just going to do it for fun (and I still am!), however, I have decided that whilst I'm running it, I might as well fundraise too! I also need to lose some weight for Michelle's forthcoming wedding in August! This will be the month before, so here's hoping!

The run is 5k (3 miles for those of you who learnt distance in the normal way!) and through each station we get coloured powder thrown over us. For those of you who know how long it takes me to wash and dry my hair, this is no mean feat.

I'm not expecting to raise a lot of money for this as I raised over £500 for Cancer Research last year running the Race for Life, so I have set a goal of £100 and will supplement this with my own money if it isn't reached.

I have chosen Breast Cancer Now as my charity to support as this is the largest breast cancer charity and they are committed to funding breast cancer research and are the way forward for medical advances. They work to prevent, detect and treat breast cancer at every stage.

Thank you for all your support.
