Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This winter I've teamed up with Leeds RAG to pull together a great fund-raising idea to sell Christmas Trees on campus.
We’re calling them Charitrees!
Students can pre-order and have their Charitree delivered free of charge, or they can pick one up at the general Charitree sale on November 26th.
It’s all for a charity that I’ve worked with in the past, called Project Luangwa. Based in Zambia and all about sustainable tourism.
They’ve been operating since 2009 with the aim of ensuring the people of the Luangwa valley gain the full benefit from tourism by investing in education and business development.
They’ve done loads of great stuff, for more just take a look at there website: http://www.projectluangwa.org
So, this year, come and buy a Charitree: http://www.leedsuniversityunion.org.uk/ents/event/7556/
I aim to raise £4000, which is going to go to the new iSchool Project. (New interactive learning materials going into schools operating in the Luangwa area in Zambia)
If you're not interested in buying a Charitree, feel free to donate through my JustGiving page and help us hit our £4000 target!!
