Dear Family and Friends

Some time ago I decided I would like to do something for charity. There are so many worthy charities needing help to fund further research, treatment, care and family support. After careful consideration I have chosen the charity RICE (Research Institute for the Care of Older People) which also supports research into alzheimers. More information can be found on their website www.rice.org.uk
As well as raising money this will be a huge personal challenge taking four days to reach Paris averaging 80 miles per day. I'm very excited about the trip but also a little nervous as I have never done anything like this before. Your generosity will be gratefully appreciated by 'RICE' and I thank you for your support.
