Story
In April last year we said goodbye to a very beautiful woman. Annette Boyle, my friend, was just 38 when she was taken from us too soon. She handled her illness with dignity, grace and a sense of humour; she was and remains an inspiration to us all.
We always said that one year we would run the London Marathon! And as this year would have been her 40 birthday I have decided I am going to do it for her! My aim is simply to finish and I am hoping I can count on you for support as I am raising funds for a small charity Jigsaw (South East).
During her illness she sought help and guidance from Jigsaw (South East) who offered support and counselling for her little boy, husband and family. They did a great job and continue to help the family through this awful time. So in honour of a wonderful mum I want to raise money for this admirable cause because no child should grow up without a parent but when the unthinkable happens to know there are people who care and can make their passing just a little more bearable provides just a little peace of mind.
So Mrs B! This is for you and I know you will be with me every step of the way, love you and miss you deeply my friend xxx
