In December 2021 just before Christmas, Chris was diagnosed with extensive bone cancer, in multiple places. Unfortunately, the cancer spread throughout her body and she sadly lost her battle on Thursday 4th August 2022.

If you knew Chris, you would know she had the biggest soft spot for dogs of all shapes and sizes. Bulldog Rescue was one of the charities she held so very close to her heart. 

Chris had two beautiful rescue dogs; Millie & Winston who came from Bulldog Rescue. Both Chris and John ensured they lived like royalty in their final years. 

One of her final wishes was to raise donations for this charity at her funeral.
