Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'll be running the Windsor Half Marathon on 26 September 2010. It's probably not quite as funny this time now that i've managed to do one before and not collapse or fall over too many times. I was beaten by two men wearing a pantomime camel costume though, so there's still room for tittering and/or guffawing this time.
This is all in a great cause - raising money to help children with Cerebral Palsy, children like my cousin Stevie. Stick 'n' Step provides intensive support to help improve mobilitity, confidence,
self-esteem and well-being in children affected by Cerebral Palsy and
related conditions. It has certainly helped Stevie and being one of my favourite people in the world, I want to help her and many other children like her.
Stevie's place at Stick 'n' Step costs about £3,000 per annum, and they receive no government or NHS monies towards this cost, so every pound raised really makes a huge difference. If you have any spare dollars and cents (though I think they tend to prefer pounds and pennies) please give as generously as possible. I might give you a kiss.
Please send this on to anyone who you think might be interested in donating - be it friends, family or just someone you're stalking and to whom you want to show your friendly, philanthropic side.
p.s I still won't be involving Lenny Henry, baths of beans or juggling.
p.p.s. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
