Story

Did you know? A marathon is 26 Miles and 385 yards due to the British Royal Family's request for the London 1908 Olympic Games Marathon to start at Windsor Castle and end at the Olympic Stadiums Royal Box!

I am aiming to run/walk/jog those 26.2 Miles in April 2023!

I need you to help me raise some cash for the Down Syndrome Association. My little boy Finley Patrick Egan was born on 25th March 2022 and was diagnosed with DS. A bit of a shock for his Mum and Dad. He was also born with some heart issues, but has gone from strength to strength and surprised doctors along the way.

I did not have a clue about DS before then, and l’m still learning now. The Down Syndrome Association have been so supportive with materials, and a network for us to contact if we have any questions and when facing any new challenges. I also want to mention West Middlesex Hospital and all our family and friends for their support.

Finley is now 9 months old, and is an amazing, sociable, happy and most importantly, a good sleeping baby :-)

He is adored by his Mum and Dad, and hugged way too tightly each day by his big brother Noah (3.5 years).

Having DS is only a small part of who he is, but an important part.

If you can spare any money towards this life changing charity then it would be greatly appreciated.

Come on, look at his cute little face...How can you not donate? :-)
