Me and my brother Ben Leeson with a help from our amazing friends are doing the Plymouth Half marathon in 2011 in memory of my Dad, Geoff Leeson.

My Dad sadly passed away in June 2010 due to undetected problems with his Heart. So we are going to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
Not only is this run to celebrate the life of my Dad and raise money for charity, but we are also hoping to raise awareness aswell and hope people never have to experience what we have.

I think what is also important to mention is that my Dad was a very sporty person - and this is something he would have loved to do himself - this is a tribute to his life and his attitude to being healthy and enjoying sport

My Dad is a keen cricketer and was also a well respected policeman so we have also had some ideas to dress up as a tribute but we shall see.
