We operate two charitable hospital ships to deliver free surgery and training

Story

In August 2015, my colleague John Kirkham and I will be cycling over 500 miles from Blackpool Tower in the UK to the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France.

We will be taking on this challenge in order to raise money for WRS sponsored charity for 2015, Mercy Ships. Mercy Ships do incredible work bringing medicine and life saving surgery to some of the worlds poorest people. In essence they are a team of nurses, doctors, surgeons, and other crew members from all over the world, donating their time to help on board the worlds largest non-governmental floating hospital. https://www.mercyships.org.uk/

The ride is planned to take place over 5 days starting on the 22nd August and we will be riding on our own, not as part of an organised group. We will be aiming to cover over 100 miles a day.

No matter how small or large your donation is it will be greatly appreciated. Every penny counts.
