Story
After promising never to do a marathon again after running the London Marathon a few years back and damaging my knee, here I am waiting for the next couple of weeks to pass before doing it all again in Brighton. Being a resident, I thought running the inaugural Brighton Marathon would be reason enough for me; however, once the training miles started building up I quickly realised this definitely wouldn’t be enough to keep me going!
Therefore, I’ve decided to raise some money for a charity that is close to my heart - the Multiple Sclerosis Resource Centre (MSRC). MSRC is a small, proactive charity, who support anyone affected by Multiple Sclerosis through access to unbiased information and advice. As you may know, two of my family have MS and I’ve always found them to be very supportive when I have contacted them.
Any coppers you find down the back of your sofa will be much appreciated, and in return I promise to beat the speed-walker who pipped me to the post in the recent Brighton half marathon!
