Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my page.
I did my first parachute jump at 18 for Cancer Research. With Dad just being diagnosed with cancer and having dropped as a Para on D-Day, it seemed an obvious way to raise money for a great cause.
Since then I always wanted to do a "freefall" jump and now, 24 years later, Karen has bought me a Skydive with the Red Devils - the Parachute Regiments display team.
This time I would like any money we can raise to go to two great charities who have been there for friends and family: Macmillan and Blythe House, a local hospice who have a Children's counsellor who I know has been really helpful in difficult times. I've set up two pages so you can choose which to support.
I haven't set a target - I'd just like to raise as much as possible but please remember, as the supermarket says, "Every little helps!"
Weather permitting the jump will be on 20th June.
Thanks!
Chris
