Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page in memory of Chris.
Chris died suddenly on Friday 29th January. He was well known to many, supportive and kind, taking time to help anyone who needed his help.
Chris joined AXA in September 2006 as a Client Relationship Manager but his knowledge and enjoyment of the investment world led to him becoming Investment Strategy Manager in 2008. In that role, which he carried out with typical gusto and professionalism, he came into contact with a huge number of people, both inside and outside AXA.
He will be sorely missed by all those he touched during his working life, both as a colleague and a friend.
Chris leaves a wife, Jane, and three children, Christopher, Oliver (11) and Jessica (8). Oliver and Jessica in particular will benefit from the help of Daisy's Dream.
Daisy's Dream is a charity that supports bereaved children and their families in the Berkshire area in the aftermath of the death of a significant person in a child's life, which is often difficult for then to understand. The charity offers support and advice to families and other professionals to help children learn to cope with death and understand what has happened and how they can express their grief.
It is this charity, and also the British Heart Foundation that Jane and the family would like to support so instead of flowers at the funeral, they have asked for donations to these two charities.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate, so please dig deep and donate now.
Thank you.
