Story

Come this September I will be undertaking the Bristol Half Marathon, and have decided to do so in support of a cause that is very close to home for me; The Orpheus Centre, where my sister is currently a resident.

The Orpheus Centre is a performing arts centre for young disabled people, which aims at developing self-confidence and life skills in individuals with physical and/or sensory impairments. As well as providing a great community atmosphere for young disabled people, it also encourages a level of independence that makes it possible for them to go out and live life the way they want to.

More info is available at http://www.orpheus.org.uk/, and for anyone who's curious, my sis is the one with red hair and she's ace!

Any kindly donations would be extremely welcome, as much of what the The Orpheus Centre does is reliant on volunteer/charity work, with only minimal support form the government.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my page.
