Story

Last year was about Half Marathons. 2010 is about conquering the Big One. The London 2010 Virgin Marathon.

With 2 Half Marathons under my belt, Leeds in 1hr 22, and London 1hr 25 I have set myself a stiff challenge of Sub 3hrs. I'm not sure how I'm going to perform on the day, but I guarantee that the 5.30am training starts will aid me for the 26 miles ahead.

Not only do you need fitness and health for the big day, you need focus to, and something that's going to push you through the tough times. Prostate Cancer is a charity that touch's a nerve with me, and something I feel passionate about.

Any money you can donate to this charity will be much appreciated, and something that will push me on the big day ahead. I thank you in advance for your support.

About the charity

The Prostate Cancer Research Foundation has two aims, the first to promote independent worldwide research into all aspects of prostate cancer; and the second to spread the crucial knowledge gathered from that research as far afield as possible, via an internationally recognised forum, attended by the world’s top prostate cancer experts. The Prostate Cancer Research Foundation is also the home of the Bob Monkhouse ‘Give a few bob’ campaign www.giveafewbob.org.
