What exactly am I doing?

I am embarking on the race of a lifetime in the shape of Ironman Lanzarote on 22nd May this year,  An Ironman is a 3.8km swim followed by a 180km cycle and 42km run (a marathon!).  What is more, Lanzarote Ironman is renowned as the toughest of the Ironman courses because of the sea swim, the strong winds and hilly contours on the bike course and the debilitating heat from the sun on the exposed run course.   That said, I am looking forward to the mental and physical challenge and raising some well deserved funds for Springboard.
