My Breast Cancer Appeal
Hello and thanks for visiting my JustGiving page.
As I guess you all know by now I was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer in May, followed by surgery in June and have now started 6 months of chemotherapy which will be followed by radiotherapy and other treatments into 2011.
With the type of chemo I am having I will definately lose my hair in a few weeks time and wanted to do something positive to mark the occasion so I plan to have my head shaved as soon as I start to lose my hair.
From the very start of the rollercoaster of breast cancer investigations and tests, numerous hospital appointments, the surgery and minefield of information and emotions to deal with, the support nurses in the Breast Cancer Care Team at the University Hospital of North Staffordshire have been absolutely brilliant!!
Alongside all the wonderful medical teams looking after me they are a hidden gem and support breast cancer patients across North Staffordshire and South Cheshire!
I can't put into words how much they do for breast cancer patients with neverending patience and support and so I have decided to ask you to sponsor me when I have my head shaved so I can give something back to the Breast Cancer Care Team of nurses to help them to continue their work.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. So please dig deep and donate now. A few pounds will make all the difference to breast cancer patients like me across North Staffordshire and South Cheshire.
All my love and thanks to each and every one of you for your continued support and good wishes.
Lots of love
Chris
