Hi everyone,

 

Madly I have agreed to do the Great North Run (largest road race in the UK) in September this year.  I am not on my own, Mike (my hubby), James (my Brother) and Gurbax (Broth's girirlfriend) are all doing it too.

We are doing this to raise money for Action Heart - a locally based charity that put people back on their feet after suffering a heart attack or recovering from coronary heart surgery.  They do an amazing job, and amongst many they put my Dad back on his feet.

August Update

Well we are well on with our training - now up to 10 mile runs each weekend - the joys!!!

Just another three miles to go then we will at least have done the distance!!!

September Update

 

Well we have all done the distance and only a week to go.  A week of rest - hoorar.

 

Donations are coming in well and looks like we will exceed our target which is fantastic and makes the run even more worthwhile.
