Jason Boas died in November 2008 after a brave fight against pancreatic cancer at the age of 34.

1 in 3 people either develop cancer or are affected by cancer in their lifetime and the frightening fact is that 1 in 10 of all cancer cases occur in adults aged between 25 - 49.

As many of you know this is all very personal to Emma, which is why we have actively decided to get behind No Surrender and to raise awareness amongst our age group of this horrific disease.

We have decided to climb Kilimanjaro. (Some might call us stupid.....we call it an amazing challenge,) for this fantastic cause which was set up to help young adults battling with cancer.

This is a huge challenge (one we will complete....but can't promise we won't moan our way to the top!!) and will help in raising money for the No Surrender Social Network, and The Jason Boas Research Fellowship at UCH, which will potentially help many thousands of people with cancer.
