Story
On the 8th of September 2012 I will be embarking on a challenge of both body and mind.
To walk the Trans Pennine Trail from coast-to-coast, between Southport and Hornsea, 215 miles (346Km) in 12 days. All in aid of The Jubilee Sailing Trust.
The Jubilee Sailing Trust (JST), is a registered charity that owns and operates Lord Nelson and Tenacious. These are the only two tall ships in the world designed and built to enable people of all physical abilities to sail side-by-side as equals.
Sailing with JST provides everyone the thrill and adventure of life at sea and you can be involved in almost every activity on board. Take the helm, set the sails and keep watch, all regardless of your physical ability and previous sailing knowledge.
Over the years I have seen first hand the truly wonderful work The Jubilee Sailing Trust does and have chosen this challenge to raise some money to help the trust continue giving people the opportunity to experience the adventure of tall ship sailing.
So with all this in mind I would like to ask my friends, family, facebook buddies, work colleagues, well come to think of it, anyone else, if they would be able to help me raise my target total of 2500 pounds for The Jubilee Sailing Trust. Whether it is in the form of sponsorship or in supporting me in any other way you can think of I would be delighted.
So please keep in touch and updated on my progress on this page.
