A quick update. Well, we did it! Despite having a knee injury James completed the Great North Run in 2 hours 14 minutes, with Claire coming in just a minute behind (no excuses of injuries, but given that Claire's aim was to complete the half marathon in under two and half hours and to not stop or walk she achieved her aim).

James' family usually runs the Great North Run, and this year it's our turn!

The Great North Run is a half marathon around the city of Newcastle. We will be running for the Percy Hedley Foundation. This is a great charity that provides services for disabled people in the North East of England. We'd be very grateful if you would help us raise our target of £400 for them.
