We provide specialist palliative care to people with life limiting illness

Story

In January 2024 I am going to fulfill a long time dream and climb Kilimanjaro, which is Africa’s highest mountain standing at 5,895 metres above sea level. It’s going to be a really tough challenge but I’m going to use the opportunity to raise money for our local hospice, Willen, a fantastic organisation that cares for patients at the end of their lives and relies very much on fundraising in order to continue to provide its services.

Anything you can donate will help deliver the best care to patients and their families at a time they most need it.

Here is their statement:

Willen Hospice’s care touches thousands of local people every year. We give comfort, ease pain and reduce anxiety for patients and their loved ones. Every pound given makes a difference - as it enables us to do more for more people across Milton Keynes when and where they need us. We receive less than a quarter of our funding from the NHS, which means the rest is donated or fundraised for by amazing local people. Which is why your support is so important and so appreciated – from everyone we help, thank you.
