We fund life changing research to change the future of spinal cord injury

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

My daughter, Jessica, wants to raise money for Spinal Research by "walking for those who cannot". Jessica is 10 years old and wants to walk from Dover to our house in Orpington using the route from her Ipod Maps application - a total of 66 miles ! We hope to complete the walk over 5 days which will involve walking up to 18 miles on any one day.

We start our journey on 26th July 2011. This will not be easy for an unfit bloke in his 40th year and for a 10 year old girl who will have to spend 5 days 24/7 with him. By the time we finish, there will be nothing she doesn't know about the history of Charlton Athletic that's for sure .......... poor girl !

We really hope that you will support us - it is a fantastic charity involved in a very worthy cause. For more information about what Spinal Research does,  you can visit them at http://www.spinal-research.org/
