Thirty years ago I took the More to Life Weekend (it had a different name then). While we can never know what might have been, I'm pretty sure that if I hadn't done so, I'd never have come to Yorkshire, never taken a degree in Peace Studies, never helped create Paradise Green, and never ended up owning a theatre. And while these didn't all follow directly from my experience in the programme, I'm certain that the tools it gave me for managing my fears and my purposes, and for interacting with other people, have been important in those activities.
I want the More to Life programme to continue, to give more people the opportunity to learn what I learnt; so I am fundraising to maintain our activities and help us reach more people.
