Kirsten died from cancer just after her 25th birthday. The trust was set up by family and friends to support projects from young people under 26 who want to take part in the kind of projects for personal development, volunteering and charity work in the UK and abroad, which brought her such joy.

Story

I have decided to take part in the Windsor Olympic-distance triathlon this Sunday, June 16.

This is clearly first onset of a midlife crisis.  I will be swimming (“like an anaconda that’s swallowed a hippo”) 1,500m in the Thames, before a 40k bike ride and finally a 10k run.   I’m optimistically predicting I might complete this in 3 ½ to 4 hours…

I could do with all of the motivation to keep going that I can get, and to this end I would be most grateful for any sponsorship you can give, however small.  I will be supporting the Kirsten Scott Memorial Trust, and you can sponsor me at:

I know everyone receives a lot of sponsorship requests so thank you for taking the time and for your generosity and afterwards I will share a few photos so you can enjoy my pain.

My best,

Connor
