Mirus Batterie Ghost Hunt

On Friday 27th August 2010 I will be taking part in the Batterie Mirus Ghost Hunt at Le Frie Baton, St Saviour's Guernsey.

My challenge is to spend the night in this haunted location to try to encounter paranormal activity.  I wont be alone (thank God lol!), but in the company of 34 other slightly un-hinged individuals, a team of paranormal investigators from the Paranormal Investigation Group of Sussex, Living TV's 'Most Haunted' Medium Chris Conway, parapsychologist Dr Ciaran O' Keeffe, and Fritz...

The Batterie Mirus site is on the West Coast of Guernsey and covers an area of 45 x 35 metres. The Mirus site is what remains of the largest guns to be emplaced on Guernsey during the Occupation. Batterie Mirus Gun Position No 4 which is where I will be staying has over 20 rooms, doorways and passages, all of which are dimly illuminated (or so I have been told...) The site is currently used for Battletec games and there have been frequent reports from Battletec staff of a ghostly presence in the bunker, a presence named 'Fritz'... Visitors have felt a presence brushing past them in the narrow corridors, and there have been many sightings of a dark figure running along passageways, then disappearing into the many rooms. Images of a black shadow have also been captured on photograph...The purpose of the investigation is to raise as much money as possible for the Anthony Nolan Trust, and to have an encounter with 'Fritz'. It sounded like a good idea at the time.
