In July 2013 I will cycle from my home in Wolverhampton to my parents' home in Warmenhuizen, The Netherlands and back. I'll be cycling 180 miles to Hull over 4 days, and then a further 75 miles from Rotterdam. 

Cycling infrastructure is so important, and Sustrans is doing a great job in developing the National Cycle Network. Most of the funding available is to build the network - getting funding for maintenance is much more difficult. The money I hope to raise will provide essential core income to help pay for maintenance of cycle routes, so that we can all enjoy them (see also http://www.sustrans.org.uk/support-us/donate-now/urgent-repairs-appeal).
