We did it!!  We got to Uhuru Peak, the very top of kilimanjaro at 9:05am on Thursday 7th October.

It was hard work and our group suffered highs and lows along the way, but I must say it was absolutely worth it in every way!

We raised money and are still raising money for the following charity:-

 

Roofstop Trust (night shelter for homeless people in North East Derbyshire)

There are more homeless people than you might imagine and they range from young children to the elderly. Many are extremely lonely, scared & vunerable and simply have nothing left, not even a roof for their heads. There can be many circumstances that force someone to become homeless, from a child trying to escape abuse at home to an older person that has simply lost everything. 

 

 

Your money will help to fund warm, dry night shelter for these people, as they attempt to get their lives back on track.
