On 4th December 2008 whilst on a routine foot patrol in Afghanistan I stood on an Improvised Explosive Device and lost my left foot.
It has always been my goal to never let this injury affect me. On the 6th November 2011 I will be running the New York Marathon with my prosthetic running blade to raise money for 'The Not Forgotten Association'.
The Not Forgotten Association act for the benefit of service and ex-service personnel with disabilities or who are wounded including the organisation of, or provision of items or facilities for, leisure and recreational activities, travel, holidays and outings.
