We are an Independent Life Boat, to Save lives in Bigbury bay

Story

Devon and Cornwall Wild Swimming is 10 years old on the 3rd October 2020 and in that time it’s grown to over 10000 members of Devon Wild Swimming and almost 5000 for Cornwall Wild Swimming as well as inspiring a number of other groups to be set up around the two counties and further afield.

We still have the same ethos as when it all started so our groups are all free to swim and inclusive of everybody.

Swimmers of all genres are welcomed - from bobbers and chatters to the more serious long distance and competitive swimmers and, of course, all the Polar Bears, Penguins and winter swimmers because we swim all year round.

Being lucky enough to have miles and miles of coastline it would be great if we could celebrate our 10th anniversary by raising some funds to support  the Hope Cove lifeboat in Devon as it is an independent lifeboat run by volunteers with no funding from the government or any other organisation.

If you could spare a few pennies to support Hope Cove Lifeboat in celebration of 10 years of Wild Swimming that would be awesome :-)
