Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraiser. 

I will be taking part in a white collar boxing match on 23/04/24 at Watford Pryzm nightclub. People will probably ask ‘why choose helping herts homeless charity?’  Those that know me will know I have worked in prison and with ex offenders for around 3 years now. I have seen many leave prison hoping to start a better life for themselves, being a basic need of having shelter however this was not straight forward. Having limited spaces and funds to be able to give people shelter was clearly shown when these clients would leave homeless. Due to my current job I see first hand how many people are homeless and do not have shelter they deserve and need. 

I dealt with my first death in the community where a client was released homeless, wearing shorts and a tshirt in the winter. It was later shared with me that this client had taken there own life in the community through using drugs. 

On a day to day basis I support clients who are homeless and without places such as herts help  I believe there would be more mental health struggles leading to more deaths In the community. 

By giving small amounts to this charity leads to human beings with more of a chance of support and shelter. 

AFTER ALL WE ARE ALL ONE STEP AWAY FROM BEING HOMELESS.
